Paragon Bank is pleased to announce that Kia Wyatt, Deposit Operations Associate was selected by her peers as the Team Member of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2025.

Each quarter, Paragon Bank recognizes an employee for their outstanding performance in demonstrating Paragon’s values. At the end of the year, a Team Member of the Year is selected from the previous Quarter winners.

Wyatt, who has been with Paragon for over eight-and-a-half years, answers incoming customer calls, while processing all ACH-related files, clearing checks, wires and processing the end-of-day reconcilement for all of Paragon.

For Wyatt, she knew that Paragon was a special place to be when she had a particularly hard time during a health journey.

“The support I was shown during my own personal health journey not only touched my and my family’s heart, but it showed us how truly special the people who work for Paragon are,” she explained.

Service is also a key thing that stands out to her when thinking of Paragon.

“Being able to take the time and volunteer and participate in so many impactful community service events is incredibly special,” she said. “I include customer service in that as well. The rapport and relationships I built in my first four years with Paragon while working in Retail Banking still exists, and that still puts a smile on my face. It makes me feel like I’ve made a difference somehow.”

When she’s not in the office, Wyatt loves spending time with her family, especially her siblings, daughter and grandchildren. She loves to cook, listen to music, watching sports and traveling. In fact, she just got back from Nairobi and Mombasa, Kenya!
