Paragon Bank is pleased to announce that George Daley – Vice President, Credit Risk Officer, was selected by his peers as 4th Quarter 2022 Team Member of the Quarter.

Each quarter, Paragon Bank recognizes an employee for their outstanding performance in demonstrating Paragon’s values.

Daley, who has been with Paragon for almost 18 years, serves as a Credit Risk Officer and Commercial Lender. His day-to-day duties include reviewing, analyzing and monitoring the loan portfolio and creating various monthly reports. He also performs appraisal reviews and residential evaluations. Daley explains that additionally, he manages a commercial loan portfolio. Part of his responsibilities include developing new customer relationships and providing exceptional service to others.  

“My favorite part of working at Paragon Bank is that it provides an environment that promotes teamwork, family, and community,” Daley said. “The bank has great employees that work together to provide exceptional services to our customers.  It also has an open-door policy that allows employees to be creative and expressive.”

Another favorite part of working at Paragon, Daley believes, is that the bank gives employees the flexibility to have a good work-life balance.

“Paragon team members are actively involved in giving back to the community by supporting many non-profit organizations and provides employees 40 hours of paid time (ACTS) annually to support a charitable organization of their choosing as well,” he explained.

During his off time, Daley spends time reading, running and working out. He volunteers his time as a track coach at St. Louis School and serving as a security guard and Big Brother through his church. He’s also an avid sports watcher, particularly football and track and field.
