Paragon expands their team with five financial services veterans

Paragon Bank is proud to announce the addition of five experienced bankers, bringing decades of experience to our fast growing organization. The new team members include Daphne Adams – Private Banking Associate, Richard Exley – Vice President of Commercial Lending, Windee James – Commercial Banking Associate, Tina Steele – Senior Manager of Properties and Purchasing, and Traci Blair Strickland – Senior Vice President of Marketing & Customer Experience.

As a Private Banking Associate, Adams delivers stellar customer service to our Private Banking customers. Adams joined the Paragon Bank after 29 years with First Horizon. She held several positions in Commercial Banking, Business Banking, Treasury Management, and Diversity & Inclusion.

Serving as Vice President of Commercial Lending, Exley is responsible for commercial lending, with additional duties dealing with investment portfolios, commercial real estate, and secondary markets. Exley’s previous positions include President of Community Bank Memphis and Real Estate lead for Landmark Bank Memphis. He received his bachelor’s degree in real estate finance from the University of Memphis.

As a Commercial Lending Associate, James assists loan officers in managing portfolios along with administrative tasks including client inquiries, debit/credit accounts, wire transfers, and monitoring accounts on a daily basis. James has over 25 years of experience in various areas of the commercial banking industry in Memphis.

As Senior Manager of Properties and Purchasing, Steele is responsible for day-to-day operations of the corporate offices and support for the banking centers. This includes working with service companies/vendors, maintaining office equipment and supply levels, liaison with property management companies, capital projects and budgeting. She brings 13 years of expertise to this role, as she served as the Sr. Workplace Services Manager at Hilton Domestic Operating Company for Hilton Hotels.

As Senior Vice President of Marketing and Customer Experience, Strickland is developing the strategic marketing plan and vision for the bank, creating an improved brand awareness in all the markets we serve, including website, advertising, social media that will help the bank reach its strategic growth goals. Strickland has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry in the areas of wealth management and banking. Most recently, she served as the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Triumph Bank. She currently serves as the President Elect for the Junior League of Memphis and serves on the Board of Directors for AngelStreet Memphis and as a class sponsor at Binghampton Christian Academy. She received her bachelor’s degree in Business with emphasis in Accounting from Rhodes College.
