Paragon Bank Expands, Opens Oxford Banking Center

Paragon Bank today announced the opening of its newest location in Oxford, Mississippi, at 265 North Lamar Boulevard Suite N. The 1,253-square foot banking center offers Paragon’s full suite of services, including business and personal banking, as well as small business lending. The hours of operation are from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or by appointment.

For Paragon, this expansion into the state of Mississippi reflects the continual growth of its five banking center locations over the past 13 years. The new location enables Paragon to extend its quality customer service and civic-minded focus to a more widespread range of customers.

“We continue to be committed to exceeding our customers’ expectations,” said Robert Shaw, Chief Executive Officer at Paragon Bank. “Paragon is thrilled to open our first location in Oxford, and we look forward to having the opportunity to increase our footprint in this growing community.”

Paragon’s new location will be led by Kin Kinney, Oxford President at Paragon Bank. He is responsible for growing the Oxford banking center’s daily market operations. As an Oxford local and graduate of the University of Mississippi, he will continue his active involvement in and around the Oxford community.

Kinney is joined by new hire Lindsey Faust, who will serve as Mortgage Consultant. Faust is a New Orleans

native and received a Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing and Corporate Relations from the University of Mississippi, and is a graduate of the Mississippi School of Banking. She is responsible for partnering with local realtors, originating mortgage loans, origination and infiltration of small business and personal loans, as well as maintaining loan portfolios for Oxford-based customers.

A grand opening reception will take place May 31 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the banking center lobby and will include an official ribbon-cutting at 4:30 p.m., as well as an open house. Oxford dignitaries, executives, community leaders and Paragon team members will be in attendance.
