Paragon Bank Displays Westminster Academy’s Marvelous Mixed Media

Paragon Bank is displaying a variety of artwork from Westminster Academy students in its Saddle Creek Banking Center (7600 Poplar Avenue) throughout the month of April. Customers and community visitors are encouraged to stop by.

“We have enjoyed having these intricate, hand-crafted pieces displayed at our Saddle Creek location,” said Robert Shaw, Chief Executive Officer at Paragon Bank. “We look forward to having local students’ artwork line our walls each month, and with the amount of detail in each piece, we tend to find new features to admire daily.”

Paragon worked with Westminster Academy’s art teacher, Jocelyn Collins, to coordinate the exhibit, which features a wide range of mediums such as graphite, watercolor, oil pastel, scratchboard and colored pencil.

Artists include high school students Catherine Baum, Caroline Carney, Ginny Fisher, Will Fisher, Barbara Britton Hale, Laney Hansen, Issac Hopkins, Louise Klinke, Laurel Martens, Ashley Phillips, Andrew Robinson and Sarah Catherine Sheppard.

Westminster Academy has been a part of the Memphis community for more than 50 years. Priding themselves on their unique curriculum and close-knit community, Westminster is committed to providing classical and biblically-based curriculum for students in JK through 12th grade.
