Paragon Small Business Capital Group Appoints Small Business Administration Closer

Paragon Small Business Capital Group, a division of Paragon Bank, has appointed Irene Marin as Small Business Administration Closer. Marin will report to Daniel Vo, Vice President of the Paragon Small Business Capital Group.

“With over 30 years of experience in banking, Marin has the knowledge and ability to provide expert service and support to our SBA clients,” said Vo. “We are delighted to have her on our team in Denver, and look forward to continued growth in that market.”

As an SBA Closer, Marin is responsible for processing SBA loan requests from origination to closing. Prior to joining the Paragon team, Marin worked at Champion Bank, where she served as Vice President overseeing the SBA Loan Operations Division and as Assistant Vice President, Banking Center Manager for Community Banks of Colorado. She has also served as Portfolio Manager at Guaranty Bank and Vice President of SBA Loan Operations at Premier Bank. In addition to her extensive background, Marin has completed banking courses through the American Banking Institute and Center of Financial Training, as well as received her license to market business property insurance coverage.

“Through the many positions held in this industry, I have been able to advance my understanding of the banking environment and variety of customer needs,” said Marin. “I am excited to bring new ideas to both the Paragon team and our clients.”
