Paragon Showcases Artwork from St. Agnes Academy Art Students

Paragon National Bank held its ninth annual reception for the opening of the St. Agnes Academy senior art exhibit on March 4. The reception was hosted at the bank’s Fountain Place location and showcased the art of 12 students in Janis McCarty’s art class. Paragon will continue to display the art in the bank throughout the month of March.

“We always look forward to showcasing and celebrating the work produced by the talented group of students in Ms. McCarty’s senior art class,” said Robert Shaw, Chief Executive Officer at Paragon National Bank. “We hope the students enjoyed previewing their art with their friends and family in our bank, and we are eager to see where their artistic skills will take them in the future.”

This year’s art exhibit showcased work from students Katie Ayres, Caroline Cook, Katie Crutcher, Mary Kate Dockery, Erin Flettrich, Lauren Forsythe, Dori Green, Grace John, Adele Lemm, Maya McCullough, Ellen Nikbakht and Alex Sander. The talented artists, along with their friends and family, enjoyed refreshments provided by Paragon as they toured the Fountain Place Banking Center to see the artwork.

In an effort to support the young artists in the Memphis community, Paragon continually displays artwork from local Memphis schools in the bank’s Saddle Creek Banking Center for the public to enjoy. This year, Paragon has displayed artwork by five schools, including Memphis Oral School for the Deaf, Bodine School, Evangelical Christian School, Farmington Elementary School and Woodland Presbyterian School.
