Paragon National Bank has announced the launch of its mobile app, which can be downloaded for free by iPhone and Android users. The new app joins the bank’s existing suite of mobile banking solutions that includes Paragon Mobile Texting and Paragon Mobile Web.
“We developed the bank’s mobile services with our customers’ convenience and security in mind,” said Robert Shaw, Chief Executive Officer of Paragon National Bank. “Paragon’s team continually looks for opportunities to strengthen our service commitment to customers and this app ensures they can securely access their account, transfer funds and pay bills at anytime from anywhere.”
The Paragon Mobile App allows customers with iPhone and Android phones fast and free access to account information through the phone’s built-in functions. Using the app, customers can view account balances, transactions and customized alerts, as well as pay bills, find Paragon-owned branch and ATM locations, and transfer funds to internal and external accounts currently set up and verified within the bank’s online banking system. The mobile app’s fund transfer functionality stems from the 2011 expansion of Paragon’s online banking features, which allows customers to make money transfers between existing Paragon accounts and accounts at other financial institutions.
The bank’s existing mobile texting capability allows customers to check account balances and view recent transactions through text messaging, while Paragon Mobile Web provides customers access to account information and recent transactions, as well as the ability to make transactions and pay bills through the mobile phone’s web browser.
