Paragon National Bank Grants Sixth Wish

Paragon National Bank recently partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Midsouth for the sixth time to grant the wish of a child. More than 25 Paragon employees volunteered their time and resources to transform the bank’s Fountain Place location into Paragon’s Sport Plex for eight-year old Lazarus Allen, whose wish was to go on a Disney Cruise.

“The excitement and joy that we experience each time we’re able to play a part in making a child’s dream come true is priceless,” said Robert Shaw, President of Paragon National Bank. “Our employees truly enjoy partnering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and we look forward to granting many more wishes in the coming years.” 
  
Upon arriving at the bank, Lazarus and his family were greeted by referee Andy Taylor, Paragon’s Executive VP and Senior Special Assets Officer, and Kim Hall, Paragon’s Senior VP of Treasury Management and an Ambassador of Make-A-Wish. The special guest was led through Paragon’s Sport Plex, where he enjoyed putt-putt golf, football, a Michael Jackson dance-off and a game of laser tag with Paragon’s Rescue Squad. At the end of the evening, it was revealed that Lazarus’ wish would be granted and he and his family would enjoy a Disney cruise. 
  
With the help of Costco, Shirt Bistro, Edwin Watts, Nick Wright, Garibaldi’s Pizza, The Grizz Girls, Ridgeway High School Cheerleaders and Pure Laser Tag, Paragon was able to provide an amazing and unforgettable evening filled with fun games for Lazarus and his family.
