Paragon Introduces New Premier Plus Checking Account

Paragon National Bank has recently unveiled a new product in its line of diverse banking products: the Premier Plus Checking Account.

This account, with its high rate of earning interest, is designed to maximize the earning potential for those individuals with high balances. In fact, it offers high-balance customers the benefits of a savings account without the limitations. For example, in an interest-bearing savings account, there is a limited amount of withdrawals allowed before penalties are incurred. However, with the Premier Plus Account, customers are free to make as many withdrawals and write as many checks as they would like. It requires one monthly ACH credit, such as a direct deposit from payroll or a social security payment. There is a $12 monthly service charge for balances below $2,500, unless there is a $5,000 combined average collected deposit relationship. $2,500-$10,000:  1.49%

$10,000-$25,000:  2.23%

$25,000-$50,000:  2.72%  

$50,000 and over:  3.20%
