Each quarter, Paragon Bank honors an exceptional employee who embodies our core values and goes above and beyond in their role. For 2026, we are delighted to announce that Laura Falls, Sr. Manager — Marketing and Communication, has been selected as the Team Member of the First Quarter for her outstanding contributions and leadership.
Laura has been a vital part of Paragon Bank for over three years, where her expertise in marketing, communication and social media has significantly enhanced our community outreach and engagement. This year, her dedication was particularly evident in the Make-A-Wish event for Joelle, whose dream was to visit Romania and Vlad the Impaler’s castle.
“Make-A-Wish is an organization that is near and dear to my heart, and it’s one of my favorite things we do each year here at Paragon,” Falls shared. “This year’s theme of Paragon Squares in the style of the tv show Hollywood Squares, was such a fun challenge for the Make-A-Wish committee, and we had a great time pulling it off!”
Laura’s role in orchestrating this year’s Make-A-Wish event was nothing short of remarkable. Her leadership and organizational skills were key to the success of this heartwarming initiative. Laura took charge, gathering every costume, recruiting volunteers, and crafting the entire script and questions for the game show host, ensuring every detail was perfect.
“Working on Joelle’s wish was an incredibly rewarding experience. I wanted to make sure every moment was magical for her. Seeing her smile at the end made all the hard work worthwhile,” she said.
When she’s not in the office, she spends time with her husband, Andrew, and their dog, Ollie. A voracious reader, she also took up needlepointing this year and is working on a myriad of projects. An Ole Miss alumna, she tries to get to Oxford as often as she can to cheer on the Rebels in whatever sport is currently being played in season.
