03-08-17
Paragon Bank is displaying artwork from Westminster Academy students in its Saddle Creek Banking Center (7600 Poplar Avenue) throughout the month of March. Westminster Academy is a junior kindergarten through 12th grade classical Christian independent school located in Memphis.
“The students at Westminster are exceptionally talented, and we are delighted to showcase their artwork,” said Robert Shaw, Chief Executive Officer at Paragon Bank. “We enjoy providing the youth of the Memphis community with the unforgettable experience of seeing their art on exhibit.”
The artwork was created by upper school students, and consists of a mixture of different styles and media of art. Paragon worked with Westminster art teacher, Jocelyn Collins, to coordinate the featured pieces.
Student artists include seventh-graders Marianna Jordan and Margaret Statom; eighth-graders Catherine Baum, Ginny Fisher, Emma Hays Gibson, Abigail Gilbert, Emma Gregory and Barbara Britton Hale; 10th-grader Sarah Renshaw; and 12th-graders Ethan M. Cox, E. Addison Furst, Max Gustafson, Mary Banks Hickman and Sam Keith.
