Paragon Hosts Woodland Presbyterian School Student Art in Saddle Creek Banking Center
02-01-13
Paragon National Bank will host artwork from Woodland Presbyterian School students in the
main lobby of its Saddle Creek banking center (7600 Poplar Avenue) throughout
the month of February. Located in East Memphis, Woodland Presbyterian School
serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade and is the fifth local
school art exhibit that Paragon has hosted during the 2012-2013 school year.
“We’re excited to continue the
tradition of displaying art created by local students in our Saddle Creek
branch,” said Robert Shaw, Chief Executive Officer of Paragon National Bank.
“We’ve had a great response to the other student installations and welcome our
customers and the community to stop by and support the work of these talented
Woodland students.”
The students’ pieces, which use
watercolor, tempera and oil pastel paints, feature a variety of scenes and will
be on display in the bank’s lobby until February 28th.
The artwork was created by Connor
Morris and Janie Kathryn Skeen in first grade; Chloe Brown and Wesley Cadwell
in second grade; Megan Aslin and Camden Clark in third grade; Madison Covington
and Jordan Lee in fourth grade; Ayden Lane in fifth grade; and Eva Hanissian
and Bonnie McCary in seventh grade.
