Paragon Hosts Exhibit for St. Agnes Academy Art Students

03-06-08

Paragon National Bank hosted an art exhibit Tuesday, March 4, for senior art students at St. Agnes Academy. The show featured the art of eight of Janis McCarty’s senior students.

“We are pleased to have the privilege to showcase and celebrate the works of another talented group of St. Agnes seniors,” said Robert Shaw, President and CEO of Paragon. “We look forward to future opportunities to work with Ms. McCarty and certainly to hosting St. Agnes art exhibits in the years to come.”

The budding artists, along with family and friends, enjoyed refreshments and tours of Paragon’s Fountain Place offices where their art is on display through March. The students were thrilled to have their work exhibited alongside pieces of the Paragon corporate art collection, which includes pieces from renowned local artists such as Jay Etkin, Maysey Craddock, and Ephraim Urevbu.

The students’ art will remain at Fountain Place through the month of March.  Since its opening in 2005, Paragon has placed a strong emphasis on “the art of banking.”  In addition to maintaining a full roster of local artists’ works and hosting the St. Agnes art reception each year, Paragon also hosts art from different Germantown-area schools each month at the Saddle Creek location.
