Paragon National Bank Expands Executive Leadership Team

Paragon National Bank (OTCBB: PGNN.OB) announced that Sam McClatchy has joined their team as a new member of executive management and the bank’s Senior Lender. McClatchy joines Robert Shaw, President and CEO, Andy Taylor, Senior Credit Officer, and Michael Erhardt, Chief Financial Officer, as part of Paragon’s executive management team.

“Sam brings a wealth of experience to Paragon,” said Robert Shaw, President and CEO of Paragon National Bank. “Our plan, since the bank was opened, was to add someone to lead the relationship managers in their sales efforts.  We are fortunate to find someone with Sam’s qualifications to do that.”

McClatchy has been in the banking and financial industry for nearly 28 years; 14 of those years has included service as the president of his own market.  He has a record of meeting and exceeding loan growth goals at both Trustmark National Bank and Pulaski Bank and Trust.  A graduate of the Southeastern School of Advanced Commercial Lending at Vanderbilt University, McClatchy is an expert in the lending field, and is eager to use that knowledge to build on Paragon’s already solid loan portfolio.  He also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Barret School of Banking and the Mid South Chapter of the American Red Cross.
