Chondrea Black, Senior Vice President of Compliance & Loan Operations at Paragon Bank has been recognized with the 2026 Bank Compliance Leader Award, presented by Compliance Alliance, in recognition of outstanding leadership, commitment and contributions to the compliance profession and the banking industry.

The Bank Compliance Leader Award recognizes individuals who exemplify professionalism, leadership and dedication within the banking and compliance industries. Compliance Alliance is a nationwide compliance advisory network dedicated to helping financial institutions navigate regulatory complexity through education, tools, and expert guidance.

The award was presented during the ABA Risk & Compliance Conference, where banking and compliance professionals from across the nation gathered to discuss industry trends, regulatory developments and professional excellence.

Black has demonstrated a strong commitment to compliance, operational excellence and professional leadership throughout her career. In her role at Paragon Bank, she has helped support a culture of compliance while navigating the evolving regulatory environment facing financial institutions today.
