Community Engagement

When Easter and Tennessee Bankers Association’s Tennessee Financial Literacy Week coincide, what do you do? As part of Paragon’s continued support and sponsorship of the 5th grade class at Binghampton Christian Academy (BCA), Paragon volunteers recently combined an Easter party with Financial Literacy education in the form of Financial Literacy bingo!

This hands-on, in-class activity featured a rousing game of bingo, followed by definitions of each Financial Literacy term. Multiple students won the bingo round. Next up was the class party, full of sugar and a golden egg for each student. The visit finished with the first chapter in the next book the class is reading.

These small but memorable lessons help teach important financial lessons to students from a young age.
