On a sun-drenched Wednesday, May 1, the warmth of community spirit was palpable at Binghampton Christian Academy, where the annual Family Day unfolded amidst laughter, joy, and a buzz of activities. This special day brought together students, parents, teachers, and Paragon team members for a celebration that was much more than just an event; it was a vivid tapestry of connection, learning, and fun.

The day was packed with activities that catered to all ages and interests, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy. The competitive spirit was alive with pick-up basketball and football games, where friendly one-on-one matches saw both children and adults showcasing their sportsmanship. For those seeking a bit of whimsical fun, the bouncy houses were a hit, leading to endless giggles and airborne excitement. But the fun didn’t stop there; MemPops provided a sweet escape from the heat with their delicious popsicles, while a session on Financial Empowerment offered valuable insights for parents and teachers, highlighting the event’s commitment to nurturing both fun and growth.

In a heartwarming nod to Mother’s Day, students engaged in ceramic tile trivets or coasters, a creative and thoughtful activity that allowed them to express their love and appreciation for the significant women in their lives. The playground was a canvas of imagination, with face painting transforming the kids into a delightful parade of butterflies, superheroes, and more, their faces lit up with joy as they darted around, embodying the characters of their dreams. Elsas and Spider-Men ran all over the courtyard.
