Paragon Employees Celebrate School’s End with Hawkins Mill Students

Paragon National Bank visited Ms. Kimberly Martin’s third grade students at Hawkins
Mill Elementary School for the final time during the 2012 – 2013 school year.
The visit marked the completion of Paragon’s seventh consecutive year of
sponsoring Martin’s classroom.

“Our team values the
relationship we have built with Ms. Martin and her students,” said Robert Shaw,
Chief Executive Officer at Paragon National Bank. “We’ve enjoyed watching all
of the students mature over the years and look forward to continuing our
partnership next year.”

Last month, Paragon
employees Ashley Cullum, Haley Overcast and Nancy Walls visited Martin’s
classroom, where they helped the students make handprint sand crabs, play word
games and celebrate the last day of school.

During the 2012 – 2013
school year, Paragon visited Martin’s classroom on four occasions, each time
playing games, making crafts and providing snacks to the students. During the
bank’s first visit, employees marked the start of the new year by introducing
themselves to students and distributing school supplies. In December, Paragon
coordinated a holiday trip, which included a surprise appearance from Santa and
stockings for each student. The bank’s third visit included a Valentine’s Day
celebration, in which employees helped students create handprint bouquets and
played a holiday-themed game of bingo.
