Paragon Showcases Work from St. Agnes Academy Art Students

Paragon National Bank recently held
its eighth art opening reception for St. Agnes Academy’s senior art students in
Janis McCarty’s class. The reception was hosted on March 5 at the bank’s
Fountain Place location and showcased nine students’ artwork, which will remain
on display throughout the banking center until March 31.

“The extremely talented St. Agnes students always
impress us with their artistic aptitude and this class was no exception,” said
Robert Shaw, Chief Executive Officer of Paragon. “We always look forward to
hosting this special event for the artists and I hope they enjoyed seeing their
work prominently displayed in our banking center.”

This year’s art exhibit showcased work from students
Claudia Bursi, Bailey Cash, Kerrie Chaliff, Hannah Conrad, Hailey Dick, Zoe
Harrison, Savannah Mitchell, Elizabeth Pettit and Ellen Whelan. During the
reception, the artists, along with their family, friends and school officials,
viewed the artwork on display as they enjoyed refreshments provided by the
bank.

Over the last year, Paragon has expanded its effort
to showcase young artists from the Memphis community by displaying art from
several local schools in its Saddle Creek banking center. Previous art
installations during the 2012 – 2013 school year featured work from students at
Bodine School, Dogwood Elementary School, Houston Middle School, St. Louis
Catholic School and Woodland Presbyterian School.
