Paragon Employees Celebrate New School Year at Hawkins Mill

09-19-12

Paragon National Bank recently visited Ms.
Kimberly Martin’s third grade class at Hawkins Mill Elementary to meet the
students and celebrate the start of a new school year. This is the seventh
consecutive year that the bank has sponsored Martin’s classroom by making seasonal
visits throughout the year, each time playing games, making crafts and
providing snacks.

“Our visits to Ms. Martin’s classroom are very meaningful to
our employees,” said Robert Shaw, Chief Executive Officer of Paragon National
Bank. “We’re excited to witness the development of these students throughout
the year and hope they look forward to our time together as much as we do.”

During Paragon’s first visit, employees Haley Overcast, Lisa
Word, Nancy Walls, Steve Maury, Joyce Davis and Sue Ann Boehme introduced
themselves to students and distributed school supplies, including paper towels,
hand sanitizer, tissues and notebook paper. The employees and students played
games and worked together to create “dog-eared” bookmarks for the students to
use throughout the year. Following the activities, students enjoyed snacks
provided by the bank.
