With Guardian Text Alerts from Paragon, you can detect fraudulent activity much more quickly. Customers signed up for the alerts receive a text message every time their debit card is used. The immediate detection of unauthorized charges can save you frustration, time and money.
Each text includes:
- Last four digits of your card number
- Merchant where the card was used
- Amount of the transaction
- Eight-character fraud confirmation code
If the transaction is unauthorized, you reply to the alert with the eight digit code provided. You will then get a confirmation message stating that your card is now blocked, meaning it can no longer be used for payment authorization. You will then need to contact Paragon’s Customer Support at 901.273.2900 to get a new card issued. With our instant issue system, it’s now possible to receive your replacement card the same day.
