“Our employees are at the
center of everything we do,” said Robert Shaw, President of Paragon National
Bank. “They are so crucial to our success and it’s important to us to show our
sincere appreciation for their hard work and dedication.”
The
week started with a trivia contest about Paragon and its employees, the winner
of which earned half a day of paid time off. Monday also started
the week-long Blankets for Babies initiative: Paragon provided fleece,
supplies, and time during the workday for employees to make no-sew fleece
blankets for the children of LeBonheur.
On Tuesday, employees enjoyed the Ice Cream Social, in which executive
management served staff members ice cream sundaes. Later in the day, they worked off the ice
cream with a special Zumba class taught by instructor Kimberly Hawkins. The trivia contest winner, Paragon Place
Financial Services Associate Carole Hughes, was announced at the monthly
All-Employee Breakfast on Wednesday.
Staff members were treated to massages on Thursday and on Friday, staff
members continued the tradition of donating blood to LifeBlood as part of the
Employee Appreciation Week festivities.
