Paragon Bank has appointed Lea Carr as Assistant Vice President, Private Banking, John Christy as Vice President, Commercial Lending and Nancy Walls as Assistant Vice President and Community Development Officer. Carr reports to Wayne Littleton, Senior Vice President and Manager, Private Banking; Christy reports to Gordin McMurty, Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending; and Walls reports to Robert Shaw, Chief Executive Officer.

As Assistant Vice President Private Banking, Carr is responsible for managing and building relationships with business owners, professionals, executives, and other high-net-worth clients. She provides elite financial and banking services to help clients achieve long-term growth and reach their goals. Previously, Carr served in banking as both a Client Advisor and Branch Manager. She graduated from the University of West Florida with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is actively involved in the Memphis community, where she serves as Treasurer at the Dorothy Day House of Hospitality, a member of the Executive Leadership Team at March of Dimes and is a former member of the United Way allocations committee.
In Christy’s position as Vice President, Commercial Lending, he provides the Paragon suite of business banking services to companies in and around Memphis. Prior to joining Paragon, Christy has served as First Vice President, Commercial Lending and Senior Vice President and S.B.A. Manager. He graduated from Louisiana State University School of Banking and the University of Oklahoma National Commercial Lending School.
Walls returns to Paragon, where she previously was part of the Private Banking Department for five years. In her new role as Assistant Vice President and Community Development Officer, she is responsible for making contacts and developing relationships with prospects in underserved communities within Paragon’s market areas. Additionally, she coordinates and participates in Paragon’s community development activities. Walls received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Belhaven University.
